חגב

חָגָבm. (b. h.) 1) hopper, locust. Sabb.IX, 7 ח׳ חי טהור a living clean (eatable) locust.Pl. חֲגָבִים, חֲגָבין. Ḥull.63b מיני ח׳ species of locusts.
